Dear Friends and Colleagues,
We are privileged and honored to welcome you to the 7th International Preparedness & Response to Emergencies & Disasters Conference (IPRED VII). The conference will take place from November 15 to 18, 2026, in Tel Aviv. Once again, it will provide a unique opportunity for professionals from diverse fields and around the world to share, collaborate, learn, and present the latest findings and insights regarding multisystem preparedness, including that of health systems at all levels, as well as their functioning, response, and resilience in emergency situations and disasters.
As in previous years, IPRED VII will be hosted by the Israeli Ministry of Health, the IDF Home Front Command, and Israel’s rescue organizations.
Since 2010, the IPRED conferences have provided a platform for building networks and fostering connections among experts from around the world. In light of current global emergencies, IPRED VII will focus on preparedness for and response to conflicts and wars. Discussions will also provide insights into local and global responses to the COVID-19 pandemic, community involvement in emergency preparedness, and risk communication.
The conference will feature an interactive, stimulating, and multidisciplinary program, including plenary sessions, workshops, meetings, abstract sessions, oral and poster presentations, and roundtable discussions. As always, one of the highlights of the conference will be a regional simulation exercise focusing on preparedness for and protection against attacks on the home front.
The exercise will involve rescue and medical teams from the Home Front Command; the IDF Field Hospital, classified by the WHO as a Class 3 Emergency Medical Team (EMT); the Ministry of Health’s Emergency Division; civilian emergency services; first responders; and other healthcare and emergency organizations. The exercise will address a diverse range of scenarios and challenges and will bring together a wide variety of specialists, including healthcare professionals and experts in disaster management and emergency response.
IPRED VII is a professional home for all of us. We look forward to welcoming you to the conference and invite you to prepare abstracts and propose topics that you would like to present or lead.
